IFPO Delegation Visit to Salahaddin University

Academic Delegation Visit

French Institute for the Near East (IFPO) – Salahaddin University-Erbil

On 3 November 2025, a delegation from the French Institute for the Near East (IFPO) visited Salahaddin University-Erbil. The delegation included:

  • Mr. Simon Brollo – Head of IFPO’s Erbil Office
  • Ms. Carole Roche – Scientific Coordinator
  • Ms. Sepideh Parsapajouh – Researcher

They were received by Dr. Nermin Ali Mohammed Amin, faculty member at the Department of Geography, along with the Head and Academic Coordinator of the History Department at the College of Arts.

The meeting included a scholarly dialogue focused on coordination between the department and IFPO, aiming to:

  • Leverage academic capacities of both institutions
  • Strengthen institutional ties
  • Plan joint conferences and scientific seminars

This visit reflects a shared commitment to advancing academic collaboration and interdisciplinary research in the humanities.
