The Interaction and identity  between the cultural religious in the villages of North-eastern Mesopotamia

Summary

This study sheds light on three ancient villages in northern Mesopotamia (present-day Kurdistan) in the Aqra ( Akrè) region, namely Sharmen, Shush and Jundak, which were characterized by the presence of different ethnic and religious groups such as Christianity, Judaism and Islam coexisting with each other, and archaeological remains still remain. The identity and Arts  architectural character and their specificity, especially for churches, Jewish temples and holy places, can be studied, as well as the risks and challenges they face today due to neglect and extiction.
