On Saturday, February 14, 2026, at the College of Arts, a master’s thesis defense was conducted for the student Rozhan Mouloud Abdullah from the Department of History.

The thesis is entitled: “Mutasarrifs of Erbil Liwa (1923–1963): A Study of Administrative, Political, and Service Aspects”.
