Academic Discussion Announcement
On October 16, 2025, at the Department of Media, University of Sulaimani, Dr. Hawzhin Omar Mohammed, a faculty member at the College of Arts, participated in the master’s thesis discussion of student Samān Farīq Hama Gharib.
The thesis is titled: “The Impact of New Media on Shaping Public Opinion Among University Professors in Sulaimani.”
The discussion committee consisted of the following esteemed members:
- Dr. Yohan Osman Hussein – Committee Chair
- Dr. Baqir Dawood Hussein – Member
- Dr. Hawzhin Omar Mohammed – Member
- Dr. Roza Hamaweis Hamamirza – Supervisor and Member
Following a rigorous academic discussion that lasted over three hours, the student was awarded a Master’s Degree in Media Studies.
